New job? Break up? Graduating from school? Dream date? You know it is time for a change and there is no time like the present and naturally, no one like us to give you a new haircut. We give hair cuts that enhance the client's total look, as well as suiting their lifestyle and personality.
"I believe hair should be naturally healthy, perfectly cut, and nicely styled," says Zoltan Vargyai, our Creative Director. Zoltan brought to London over ten years of experience, creativity, and techniques from Hungary, Italy, Spain, and France when he established Compton Hair eight years ago. Although the salon is constantly evolving and learning new techniques, the stylists, colourists, and technicians bring knowledge from countries all over the world such as New Zealand, Hungary, Holland, Poland, Denmark, Japan, Brazil, Ireland, as well as the United Kingdom. Our staff stays up to date with regular training classes as well as keeping watch on trends. We watch the catwalk for inspiration for the next season and look to celebrities to see what looks will be hot. We offer extensive training for our up-and-coming stylists, as well as for our established senior stylists, to keep them current on trends. We use the academy techniques of Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy, L'Oreal Academy and many others in our training.

We offer free consultations and advise all of our clients to receive one before making their appointments. Consultations allow the stylist to communicate with their client regarding likes, dislikes, goals for the cut/style, as well as answer questions. We love to actually see what it is that you are aiming for with a cut, so please bring in any pictures you come across that inspire you. Photos really are the best way to let a stylist know what you want, although if you do not come in with a photograph of your dream cut we have plenty of style magazines here for you to explore to find one. The consultation usually takes no longer than 15 minutes-then we will book your appointment!!
Cutting It.
Get ready to be spoiled. Before we cut, snip, and trim, expect a toe-curling head massage and relaxing shampoo with Kerastase products. After the cut, our stylists make recommendations for home care products and show you hints and how-to's to style your new cut yourself at home. The whole process takes from 45-60 minutes and costs between 29-68 pounds. Because our first goal is your happiness with your new cut, we offer a two-week guarantee on all of our cuts.
